ABSTRACT
A criticism of business education is that many courses direct students to single-disciplinary solutions. This study reviews and analyzes the capstone strategic-management course to assess whether it sufficiently integrates finance concepts. The findings of this study reveal particular topics in finance that are deemed to be most important in strategic planning, and the extent of coverage of these particular finance topics in strategic-management textbooks.
