ABSTRACT
The primary objective of this paper is to examine the relationships among student
performance in various accounting courses. Particularly, the paper provides an exploratory
investigation on the interrelationship of accounting students’ grades in different levels of
accounting and management required courses.
The contributions of the study are two-fold. From the perspective of accounting
education research, this study sheds light on the development of the accounting curriculum to
better prepare students. Besides the academic benefits, this paper also provides empirical
evidence for academic advisors when guiding students in major selection.
