ABSTRACT
Green Management is an evolving paradigm that focuses on adopting environmental and
green strategies to enhance competitive advantages. While green management is conceptually
defined, it still needs to be operationalized through the development of managerial tools and
programs that will facilitate the successful adoption of Green Management; hence enhancing
green competitiveness. This study represents a substantial effort to remedy this gap by examining
the development and success of the green management paradigm, drawing similarities between
both paradigms, and examining the adaptation and the expansion of Total Quality Management
(TQM) towards the use in green management implementation. Further, the study examines the
linking of green management to other evolving management paradigm of environmental social
governance.
