ABSTRACT
This paper provides a brief survey of the approaches for evaluating knowledge model. Current approaches and their evaluation criteria are introduced and summarized through literature review. A managerial view is presented focusing on the identification of evaluation criteria. Then these criteria are integrated into a comprehensive view of evaluating a knowledge model. The proposed view of model evaluation takes into account four dimensions: validation, representation, application and management.
