ABSTRACT

The objectives of study are to compare the decision of potential home buyers based on
the real estate agent’s gender and weight. Specifically, the first objective is to find out whether
there are significant differences in the decisions of potential home buyers to buy or not to buy if
the real estate agent is a female with a normal weight or a male with normal weight. The second
objective is to find out whether there are significant differences in the decisions of potential home
buyers to buy or not to buy if the real estate agent is an obese female or an obese male. The third
objective is to find out whether there are significant differences in the decisions of potential home
buyers to buy or not to buy if the real estate agent is a female with a normal weight or a female
with an obese weight. The fourth objective is to find out whether there are significant differences
in the decisions of potential home buyers to buy or not to buy if the real estate agent is a male with
normal weight or a male with an obese weight.
Utilizing a sample of potential home buyers, the findings of this study reveal that there
are no significant differences in the surveyed potential home buyers’ decisions whether the real
estate agent is a female with a normal weight or a male with a normal, if the real estate agent is
an obese female or an obese male, if the real estate agent is female with a normal weight or an
obese female, and if the real estate agent is a male with a normal weight or an obese male.
